Faith Track · Christian Spiritual Formation
You were not made to earn what you already are.
The Faith Mirror Test is a reflective identity tool for Christians and spiritually curious people who want to examine the places where faith and survival may have become tangled. The places where performing for God replaced resting in Him, where surrender became another form of control, and where the gospel became something to earn rather than something to receive.
A word before you begin: .
What Makes the Faith Track Different
The Core Mirror Test reflects the same 13 identity patterns using accessible psychological language. The Faith Mirror Test asks the same questions through a different lens, one that takes seriously how faith shapes hiding, striving, controlling, and healing.
It was built for the believer who has read all the right books, prayed all the right prayers, served faithfully for years, and still feels like they are barely holding it together. For the one who confesses with their mouth but cannot quite believe in their bones that they are already enough.
Grace, not performance
The Faith Mirror does not measure spiritual maturity or theological correctness. It reflects the patterns you carry, not to shame them, but to name them.
Honesty, not piety
This is not a test you pass by knowing the right answers. It only works when you tell the truth about what you actually reach for. Before you edit it for church.
Reflection, not diagnosis
Your result is not a verdict on your faith. It is a mirror. You are not broken. You are still becoming.
You are already worth knowing. Even to God.
The 13 Faith Mirrors
Seeing the names before you answer changes how you answer. It is easy to reach for the pattern you would like to have, or the one that sounds most faithful, instead of the one you actually live from. So you meet your Mirrors at the end, after your first honest reflexes have had their say. They are not diagnoses and not a verdict on your faith. Most people carry more than one.
Who the Faith Track Is For
The one who calls exhaustion "faithfulness" and keeps going anyway.
The one who is tired of performing for God but afraid to stop.
The one who spiritualizes control, calling anxiety "prayer" and planning "trust."
The one who sacrifices until there is nothing left, then wonders why they feel so far from God.
The one who knows the theology of grace but cannot quite receive it.
The one who is deconstructing and needs language for what was actually happening in their faith.
The one who loves God deeply and still feels like they are never quite enough.
The Faith Mirror Test is built to be usable by therapists, spiritual directors, pastors, and coaches who work with people at the intersection of faith and emotional health. If that is your work and you want a shared language for what you are seeing, we would like to hear from you.
